Republic Act No. 11037: Masustansyang Pagkain para sa Batang Pilipino Act

National Schools Feeding Program: Because we believe no child should be going to school with an empty stomach, we proposed this bill which seeks to institutionalize a universal feeding program and to expand existing feeding programs mandatory in all public kindergarten, elementary, and secondary schools in the country to eliminate malnutrition among Filipino children.

Republic Act No. 10975: Creation of Emilio Jacinto National High School

With the full implementation of the K to 12 Program, the 6th District of Quezon City is among the most challenged districts of the City with its 12 public elementary schools sending their graduates to only 5 available public high schools. This bill establishes an additional high school in Barangay Pasong Tamo to provide greater access to relevant formal education for the youth.

Republic Act No. 10932: Emergency Health Care Law

There have been cases where patients in emergency or serious situations suffer severe loss of blood, or worse, die while being transported to medical facilities. This bill remedies this public health concern by providing an efficient emergency healthcare service as part of the country’s national health policy.

This bill puts in place a national land use policy which shall end the current degradation of the country’s land resource, and optimize balanced development. Alongside the bill’s multidimentional approach to land use, it also includes the equitable access of basic sectors to the country’s land through state intervention.

House Bill No. 159: Land Expropriation for Socialized Housing

This bill aims to fulfill the policy of providing the rational land use and development of urban land in order to bring about equitable utilization of residential lands in urban and urbanizable areas.

House Bill No 398: Establishing the Tandang Sora Senior High School

In order to absorb the junior high school graduates of several high school in surrounding areas, this bill aims to prepare the District for the full implementation of the K to 12 Program by establishing a stand-alone senior high school in Barangay Tandang Sora.

House Bill No. 715: Establishing a Senior High School in Barangay Talipapa, Quezon City

Barangay Talipapa is one of the barangays in the District that has no public high school, which means that graduates from elementary schools in the barangay carry the burden of added transportation cost and allowance to the daily burdens to the parents. The establishment of a Talipapa Senior High School aims to unload such burden from the students, the parents, and the community.

House Bill No. 3618: Agricultural Free Patent Act, Removing Restrictions in Commonwealth Act No. 141 Sec. 118 and 119

This bill proposes to remove restrictions on agricultural patents and to make agricultural land titles immediately tradable and bankable, provide patentees with much needed access to credit and create capital and investments, create jobs, increase productising and reduce poverty in rural areas.

House Bill No. 8171: Bawas Presyo Bill

This bill offers an immediate solution by repealing the excise tax imposed by TRAIN on kerosene and diesel, two products on which the poor, either directly or indirectly, heavily depend. It also provides for the automatic suspension of the excise taxes on all other petroleum products imposed under TRAIN when the inflation rate for a given quarter exceeds the government’s quarterly inflation target.
